Our buck that was sick with urinary calculi back in April did okay for about a week and then he came up with another blockage. He grew worse and we knew he wasn't going to make it. So to perk him up a bit, we moved him in with his wives (2 current and 1 future) and children (1 buck and 3 does). We took him out of the pen every day for a ration of grain and goodies and treats. He loved crackers, carrots and apples. And he loved molasses coated corn, oats and barley.
He was four years, two months old. I heard his mother passed away earlier this year.
Rest in peace, Bambi.
Until next time.
